Affiliate Access

Your affiliates may retrieve the amount of commissions, payments, or the overall activity of their affiliation with you. The URL you give to your affiliate for their access is http://www.yourwebsite.com/online/Affiliate/affiliate_login.asp You may also review what your affiliate see's. Affiliates by definition, are simply merchants with less access. First, you must configure special access for your merchants.

Configuring Access for Affiliates

To allow affiliates access to the Affiliate Control Panel, do the following, from the Order Management Menu, click on Affiliates>>Configure Affiliates. The Configure Affiliates screen should appear. You will notice that all merchants with access to the Order Management system are displayed including your access account. Affiliates are simply merchants with special (less) access. Merchants automatically can see Affiliate reports. Affiliates on the other hand cannot log into to see your orders. Click on the Add a New Merchant link to create a new merchant. Once the merchant is created, make sure that the drow down box for Access is set to Affiliate and not Merchant. If you set the access to Merchant, your affiliate will have the same access as you.

Review the Affiliate Control Panel

Affiliates can see virtually the same report as you can see within the Affiliates menu. To review what your affiliate is able to review, from the Order Management Menu, click on Affiliate Login>>View Affiliate Control Panel. The Affiliate Control Panel Login should appear.

Logging In

A Merchant has automatic access to the affiliates section. You may use the same login to continue on. However, if you wish to test the affiliates login, enter the affiliates Userid and password to just defined to log in. There is a reminder function that allows your affiliate to get a copy of their password emailed to them. This password reminder is only emailed to the email address that matches in the database and is only sent via email to that email address. Once you log in, the Affiliate Control Panel option(s) are available.

Affiliate Control Panel

Affiliates may do the following:

Create Affiliate Link Tags: From the Affiliate Control Panel Menu, click on Review Affiliate Reports>>Create Affiliates Link Tags. This allows your affiliate to create the special HTML link tag they would place on their web site so that Internet shoppers coming from their web site would be tracked properly. Once they press the Create Hyperlink, they will have the appropriate Hyperlink which they can cut and paste on to their web site.

Affiliate Total Sales Only: From the Affiliate Control Panel Menu, click on Review Affiliate Reports>>Affiliate Total Sales Only. This allows your affiliate to create a report showing total sales for a specific period for all products sold. If you have attributed commission to them, they may check on this calculation as well.

Affiliate Sales By Product: From the Affiliate Control Panel Menu, click on Review Affiliate Reports>>Affiliate Sales By Product. This allows your affiliate to create a report showing sales for only a particular product SKU for a specific period. If you have attributed commission to them, they may check on this calculation as well.
