Installation Procedure

  1. Double-click on the executable file.
  2. The installation program will automatically start.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Read the License Agreement and if you agree, click Yes.
  5. Read the release notes (the ReadMe.txt file).
  6. Click Next.
  7. Type in your Name, Company and the SalesCart Serial Number. The serial number is required if you are installing the full purchased version. In the trial version, you may use the default serial number.
  8. Click Next>>OK.
  9. The Plug-in finds the path to FrontPage and installs the software to the designated location.
  10. Select Typical>>Next.

Restart your computer.

Note: If you are installing from disks, insert the first disk, and select Start>>Run from the Windows Desktop. Enter A:\setup, then click Ok. Insert each disk as prompted. If you are installing from CD, Enter CD Drive letter:\setup, then click Ok

Adding Order Managment to your shopping cart site

The Order Management plug-in, when installed correctly, configures itself directly into Microsoft FrontPage as a basic Web Template.

  1. Open up Microsoft FrontPage
  2. Open the existing SalesCart cart location, where you want to add Order Management on your local computer, as either a disk-based web at c:\my webs or as a local server based web at http://localhost.
  3. Select File>>New Web from the Menu or select SalesCart>>Create SalesCart Web from the SalesCart menu. This will bring up the New Web Site Template.

  4. Select the [SalesCart] Order Management Plug-in and then check the checkbox labeled: Add to Current Web. Finally select Ok and the Order Management Plug-in will be added to your existing web site under a folder off the root called \online.
  5. Select Tools>>Recalculate Hyperlinks from the FrontPage Menu to finalize the process.
